Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Artist to join our game development team. As a Technical Artist, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between art and programming, helping to optimize art assets and ensure efficient workflows. You will also work closely with the art and engineering teams to implement visual effects, create shaders, and help maintain the overall visual quality of the game. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to create visually stunning and technically efficient game assets.
- Implements art assets in the game levels following the level design requirements
- Develop and maintain custom tools and workflows to improve the efficiency and quality of art production pipelines.
- Create and adapt shaders and visual effects that enhance the overall look and feel of the game.
- Assist in the optimization of art assets for performance and memory usage.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to art and graphics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques in the field of game development.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of both art and programming, with the ability to communicate effectively with both artists and engineers.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. C++, Python, Lua).
- Experience with game engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine) and art creation software (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics concepts and techniques, including lighting, shading, and texturing.
- Experience creating custom tools and workflows to improve art production pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Plus:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Roblox Studio is a big plus.
- Interest for level design
- Experience working with mobile or console game platforms.
- Experience with rigging and animation.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming
